What size Akubra hat?

Finding the right size Akubra is a simple process as long as you follow a few easy guidelines.

Using a dressmaker tape or a piece of string, measure the circumference around your head approximately 12mm above your ears.

Keep the tape/string level and firm, across the temple and above the eyebrow ridges.

See the chart below to find your size. For in-between measurements use the next size up.

Remember;

Do not expect a tight-fitting hat to 'loosen up'. The inner band may actually shrink slightly with use.

Over time, the hat will conform to your head shape. A loose fitting hat can initially be adjusted using folded tissue behind the inner band.
